Of course in the bigger picture of life, these small wounds to our vehicles are not very important. With everything going on in the world, I hope you're not spending too much time worrying about door dings. (Even though it seems like I do, I really don't.) I hope you accept this information in the slightly less than totally serious nature it is intended. I would put it under the category of "useful silliness".
And I will make no attempt at discussing the psychology of why some of us strive to keep our vehicles smooth, shiny and free of imperfections while others don't care if their car looks like something out of a Mad Max movie. We will deal mostly with parking lot dings, but will also touch on other factors that pose dangers.
So click the ENTRANCE sign above, come on in and park for a while. You're among friends who understand.
